Hévíz Thermal Lake 2026 – Prices, Opening Hours & Tips

Hévíz Thermal Lake is the world's largest natural thermal lake suitable for bathing (approx. 4.4 hectares), only 5 km (8 min by car) from Helikon Suite apartment in Keszthely. You can swim in it all year round.

Entry Prices 2026

3-hour ticket: 4,500 HUF (students and over-60s 4,000 HUF, children 6–14 2,400 HUF)
Full-day ticket: 7,500 HUF

Opening Hours

5 October – 28 March: 9:00–17:00 (bathing ends 17:30)
1 June – 30 August: 8:30–18:30 (bathing ends 19:00)
Spring and early autumn: 9:00–18:00 (bathing ends 18:30)

2026 prices and hours are for guidance; check the current details on heviz.hu. In 2026 the central bath house is closed and bathing is outdoors only.

The Water

The water stays above 22°C even in winter and reaches 35–38°C in summer. It is known for its benefits for joint and musculoskeletal complaints.

Parking and Getting There

There are paid car parks around the lake bath. The lake is 5 km from central Keszthely: 8 minutes by car, also reachable by bike and local bus.
